Profhilo is a booster of linked hyaluronic acid that restores lost elasticity and firmness while smoothing fine wrinkles. It is a new version of hyaluronic acid which, unlike the familiar growth material that is injected under the skin to give volume, is injected into the skin to stimulate collagen production. As fibroblasts (the cells that synthesise collagen) have special receptors that are stimulated by hyaluronic acid, and give the signal for new collagen synthesis. The result is reorganised fibers and firmer skin. Profhilo treatment achieves substantial and measurable thickening of the skin with an effect that lasts at least a year and a half.

– How does Profhilo work?

Thanks to the gradual release of hyaluronic acid, Profhilo stimulates the normal production of elastin and four different types of collagen, helping to regenerate the skin. This stimulation contributes significantly to the improvement of tissue quality and rejuvenation of the skin.

– What is the procedure?

First, an anaesthetic ointment is applied locally to make the application completely painless. Profhilo is applied in small injections to the face, neck or hands. The specially developed technique of administration based on the Bap map (Bap Technique) in 10 predetermined parts of the face with specific dosages for each, reduces pain, time and number of sessions, making the application process easy, quick and painless.

– How will the skin look like afterwards?

As after any mesotherapy session, the skin needs 12 to 24 hours to look flawless. Then it will be radiant, elastic and well hydrated.  

– How many sessions are needed?

For a complete Profhilo treatment on the face 2 treatments per 30 days are needed, while for the neck 3 are recommended.
