We have tried many times to do spa at home but the true sense of spa needs a more holistic approach.
Step 1ο: The most important thing is the setting. In the stressful days we live in, the home needs to be a comfortable, calm space. We make sure the environment is clean and tidy and gives the feeling of calm, as it would be in a spa.
Step 2ο: If we don’t want to make permanent changes to the decoration, we intervene in details such as houseplants. Eucalyptus is ideal because of its fragrance.
Step 3ο: We create a spa relaxation corner: a comfortable chaise longue, cushions, a soft blanket and herbal tea. No phone or other device. We unplug everything we don’t use. This is how we save energy literally and mentally.
Step 4ο: Bathing is the best way to enjoy the beneficial properties of aromatherapy. Choose one of the following essential oils and add ten drops to the bath.
For calm: chamomile, lavender, rose.
For detoxification: ginger, sage, rosemary, rosemary.
To increase sexual desire: Ylang ylang, geranium, sandalwood.
To stimulate brain function: Grapefruit, lemon, tangerine, mint, pine.
